This is a personal visual identity project aimed to enhance my professional presence and showcase my skills in graphic design, animation, sound design, and branding through a cohesive and impactful rebranding strategy.







 


Motion graphic: Made it!!

Year: 2023
Role: Animator A loop animation for the amazing New Yorker cover illustration by Christoph Niemann. The task for this project is to choose a random keyword and bring an illustration to life with a hint of the vibe of the keyword. My keyword is ‘itchy’.



As animators might be strongly aware, time is relative. As 10 seconds in life might be no time, animating 10 seconds for animators can take ages. (I think this is also where the itch comes from, that we are fighting restlessness with our patience, haha) To convey this idea, I created a ‘countdown video’ of the journey of the tennis ball. As the ball travels, we see in the background an entire human history flashes by. 

I used a bit of fluffy textured in my visuals, I think it has an itchy vibe. And I use the fast rhythm and the drum sound to intensify the scene and to express an unsettling feeling, showing the concept of ‘Itch.’







Mingling


Year: 2021

Mingling is a mobile app that connects people from different age zones and provides the community of life-long learning.  The community is built for sincere knowledge exchange, it values users’ uniqueness and individuality regardless of age.







 








Motion graphic : Celebrating the year of dragon

Year: 2024
Role: Designer & Animator A short animation celebrating the year of dragon. This project is a challenge for myself. I came up with this idea on my way back home in the subway and took 2 hours to make it. It was satisflying to bring ideas into life.
